Link, David James (Jamie)

David James (Jamie) Link, 43, of Check, Va., went home to be with the Lord on August 23, 2016. He is a graduate of Floyd County High School, he resided in Bristol. Jamie was preceded in death by his mother, Laura Darlene Hurley Link.

He is survived by his father, David Link of Check; brothers, Stephen Link (Stephanie) of Willis Va., Wes Link (Donna) of Christiansburg Va., Roby McDowell of Salem Va., Bo Link, Joe Link (Laurie) of Roanoke Va.; sisters, Melissa Mullins of Salem Va., Robin Brown of Roanoke Va.; aunts, Mary, Betty, Brenda, and Peggy; uncles, Allen, Paul, and James; numerous nieces; nephews; great-nieces and nephews.

Memorial services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday, August 27, 2016 at Gardner Funeral Home, Interment will be at a later date in Link Cemetery in Check Va.
