Tommy Peck Jones, age 56, of Blacksburg died Tuesday, September 22, 2009 at Montgomery Regional Hospital. He was born in Blacksburg, VA on October 12, 1952 and was preceded in death by his father, Paul Watson Jones. He is survived by his wife, Phyllis A. Jones of Blacksburg; mother, Mary Ann McGuire of Radford; daughter, Kimberly Jones of Blacksburg; sons and daughters-in-law, Thomas and Joanne Jones of Blacksburg, Christopher Jones of Salem, Andy Jones of Blacksburg, Corey Jones of Blacksburg; sisters, Betty Fox of Annandale, Ginny Underwood of Christiansburg, Terry Graves of Christiansburg; brothers, Charlie Jones of Christiansburg, Bobby Jones of Shawsville, Freddy Jones of Newport, Tommy Jones of Christiansburg; five grandchildren. Funeral services will be conducted Thursday, September 24, 2009 at 11:00 am in the McCoy Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Keith Graves officiating. Interment will follow in the Sunset Cemetery, Christiansburg. The family will receive friends from 9:00 am – 11:00 am.
