Burkhart, Hazel Brookman

Hazel Virginia Brookman Burkhart, 92 of Pulaski, died Monday, July 18, 2016. She was born on December 4, 1923 in Pulaski, and was the daughter of the late Mollie Tickle Brookman and Stuart Brookman.

Mrs. Burkhart was a great seamstress and excellent cook.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Paul L. Burkhart, a daughter, Jewel, and a granddaughter, Lynne Patton, eight brothers; Harvey, Claude, Beverly, Earl, Willie, Robert, Ralph and Lindsey and two sisters; Annie Martin and Helen Perdue. She is survived by her son; Stewart Gravely (Catherine) of Lodi, CA, and a sister; Mabel Akers of Pulaski, and a special great nephew, Ron Robinson (Pattie) of Pulaski, along with one grandchild and three great-grandchildren.

A graveside service will be held Saturday, August 13, 2016 at 11:00 a.m. in Oakwood Cemetery. There will be no visitation at the funeral home.
