Cromer, Barry Lantz

Barry Lantz Cromer, 67, of Floyd, died Thursday, August 4, 2016, at his home. He was born in Christiansburg on February 23, 1949 to the late William Leslie and Bertie Mae Hodge Cromer.

He is survived by his daughter and son-in-law, Jessica Cromer and Michael Lytton; son, Joshua Cromer; sisters, Linda Tucker, Vickie Van Etten, Brenda Jenkins, Barbara Singleton; brother and sister-in-law, Randolph and Myra Cromer; granddaughter, Kaylee Wood, his little “munchkin”, who was the bright spot of his life and always made him smile. Jessica would like to say a special thank you to all of his special friends that helped with his battle against cancer.

Funeral Services will be conducted Monday, August 8, 2016 at 2 p.m. in the McCoy Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Hosea Blankenship officiating. Interment will follow in the Westview Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 4 to 6 p.m. Sunday afternoon at the McCoy Funeral Home, 150 Country Club Dr. SW, Blacksburg
