Pauley, James Edward

James Edward Pauley, age 78, of Christiansburg, originally of Craig Co., passed away, Friday, July 15, 2016, at his home. He was born in Bluefield, WV. on January 17, 1938 to the late William McKinley and Beaulah Mae Johnson Pauley.

He was preceded in death by his first wife, Mary Dills Pauley, and 21 brothers and sisters. He was a veteran of the United States Navy and a member of Trinity United Methodist Church. He is survived by his wife, Helen Mills Pauley, sons, Michael Pauley, Mark Pauley and special friend, Saprina, step-children, Tammy O’Brien, Todd Mills and many step-grandchildren, sisters, Betty McGuire, Janice Wade, many nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends 4-7:00 pm Sunday evening and funeral services will be conducted Monday, July 18, 2016 at 3:00 pm in the McCoy Funeral Home Chapel with the Pastor Russell Shepherd officiating. Interment will follow in the Ross Cemetery, Craig Co..
