Dowdy, Everett Leon

Everett Leon Dowdy, 89, of Christiansburg passed away, Saturday, August 1, 2009 at Montgomery Regional Hospital. He was preceded in death by his daughter, Donna Kay Dowdy Chafin.

He is survived by his wife, Juanita W. Dowdy; son Michael Wheeling; two grandchildren, Jason Cromer and Tanya Cromer. Also surviving are three great-grandchildren, Madison Rogers, Landon Rogers and Quenton Cromer.

The family will receive friends at The Horne Funeral Home Monday, August 3, 2009 from 6 to 8 p.m.
