Martin, Sr., Cecil Wayne

Cecil Wayne Martin Sr., 74, of Pulaski, passed away New Years Eve, 2015 at his home. Born in Pulaski, March 25, 1941, he was the son of the late, Garnett and Thelma Jane Tabor Martin. Also preceding him in death were his brothers; Raymond, Hayward, Hubert and Jimmy Martin; and sisters; Florence Roseberry and Joan Whitaker.

Surviving are his wife of 53 years, Patricia “Polly” Martin; daughter and husband, Deborah Lynn and Bill Winemiller; sons, Cecil Martin Jr. and Richard G. Martin; sisters and husband, Mona and Johnny Chinault and Pauline Richardson; grandchildren, Bridget Martin, Brittany Martin, Marcus Giles, Curtis Giles, Jonathan Martin, and Eric Martin.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday, January 5, 2016 at 11 a.m. from Stevens Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Randall Lawrence officiating. Burial will follow in the Mt. Zion Church Cemetery, Wythe County. The family will receive friends Monday evening, January 4, 2016 from 6 to 8 p.m. at Stevens Funeral Home, Pulaski.
