She is survived by a son, Greg and Dreama Thomas, of Christiansburg; daughter, Lisa Thomas Wingfield, of Ohio; granddaughter, Taylor Vaughn, of Christiansburg; two grandsons, Joshua Thomas and Jacob Thomas, both of West Palm Beach, Fla.; three stepgrandchildren, Ashley Vaught, Bridgett Vaught, and Brandon Vaught, all of Christiansburg; three sisters, Ruby Dalton and Mildred Thompson, both of Roanoke, and Sandra and Larry Tischler, of Rocky Mount; one brother, Daniel and Cindy Vest, of Check; and several nieces and nephews. Funeral Service will be held 2 p.m. on Friday, December 17, 2010, at Wood Funeral Home in Floyd with Mr. James Bearden officiating. Interment in Jacksonville Cemetery. There will be no night visitation. The family will receive friends on Friday from noon to 2 p.m. at Wood Funeral Home in Floyd, 540-745-4100.
