May, Hope Noonkester

Mariam Hope Noonkester May, age 67, of Prices Fork died, Monday, November 30, 2015. She was born in Christiansburg, Va. on October 21, 1948 to the late Floyd Augusta and Verna Mae Barnett Noonkester.

Also preceded in death by her brother, Jerry E. Noonkester. She had retired as a pediatric nurse where she had made many friends. She was a devoted loving wife, mother and grandmother.

She is survived by her husband, Joel Robert (J.R.) May, of Elliston, daughter and son-in-law, Brandyne and Rob Ramey, Blacksburg, sons and daughter-in-law, Avery and Crystal May, Blacksburg, Evans May, Christiansburg, 14 grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren, nieces, Jessica and Bob Gaulden, Haymarket, Racheal and Brien Davis, Williamsburg.

Memorial service will be conducted Saturday, December 12, 2015 at 2:00 pm in the Prices Fork United Methodist Church with the Rev. Mike Hill officiating. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the Help Hope Live Foundation, 2 Radnor Corp. Center Suite 100, 100 Matson Ford Road, Radnor, PA 19087 for Hope May.
