Cundiff, Annette Ballengee

Annette Ballengee Cundiff, 43, of Morehead City, N.C. and Blacksburg, went home to be with her Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ Saturday, May 23, 2009, at her residence.

She is survived by her husband, Doug Cundiff, of the home; father and stepmother, Chuck and Nancy Ballengee; stepsister, Nicole Lloyd, all of Christiansburg; stepbrothers, Jonathan Cromber, of Roanoke Va., and Matthew Phillips, of Arnold, Md.; mother-in-law, Virginia Cundiff, of Fayetteville, N. C.; her very special aunt, Janice Ruth Hypes, of Newport, Va.; and special cousin, Jim Hypes, of Pembroke, Va.; aunts, Phoebe Stacy and Bonnie Crock, of Longs, S. C., Peggy Duncan and Sue Suit, of Christiansburg, Va.; uncle, Richard Ballengee, of Christiansburg; and brother-in-law, David Cundiff, of Ewa Beach, Hawaii.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Eleanor Hypes Ballengee and her father-in-law, Joe Cundiff. She loved her God, her family, friends, and her cats. She enjoyed the outdoors, skiing , hiking, biking, and gardening. She also enjoyed working out at The Sports Center in Morehead City. She graduated form Virginia Tech in 1987 and has had a 21 year career as an engineer at MCAS Cherry Point, N.C.

Services will be held Tuesday, May 26, 2009 at 2p.m. at Temple Baptist Church, in Morehead City, N. C. Visitation will be held from 12:30 to 2 p.m. at the church. A graveside service will be held Thursday, May 28, 2009 at 2p.m. at Roselawn Memorial Gardens in Christiansburg, Virginia.
