STROUPE, Morgan Perishing

Morgan Perishing Stroupe, 87, of Dublin, Va., died Monday morning, May 8, 2006 at his home. He was born in Marion, Va. on September 20, 1918 and was the son of the late John Walter Stroupe and Emma Eggers Stroupe. He was also preceded in death by his wife, Frances Warren Stroupe.

Mr. Stroupe was a retired employee of R.A.A.P. and a member of the Dublin Presbyterian Church.

Surviving are daughter and son-In-Law, Sandra and John Knapp, Dublin; son, William M. Stroupe, Kissimmee, Fla.; grandchildren and spouses, Robert and Kristi Stroupe, Fort Wayne, Ind., Shelley and Mike Arft, Kendallville, Ind., Max Allen Krause, Fort Wayne, Ind.; six great-grandchildren.

Graveside services will be held Thursday, May 18, 2006, at 11 a.m. from Highland Memory Gardens, Dublin, with the Rev. Susan Cyre officiating. Visitation will be Wednesday evening at Stevens Funeral Home where the family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. In lieu of flowers, the family wishes that memorials be made to the Dublin.
