FINCH, Lucille Miller

Lucille Miller Finch, 85, of Christiansburg, died with dignity Sunday, May 7, 2006 in Montgomery Regional Hospital, Blacksburg, Va.

She was born January 15, 1921, in Rockingham County, Va., to the late Grover L. and Edna Heatwole Miller. She was preceded in death by her husband, Avis Cruise Finch and a daughter, Eva F. Cummings; three brothers and three sisters.

She is survived by three daughters and a son-in-law, Dorothy L. Finch of Christiansburg, Judy F. Finch of Tremont, Pa. and Carol F. and Royal T. Cummings of Sparta, N.C.; two sisters-in-law and a brother-in-law, Alda K. Miller of Harrisonburg, Va. and Cleo and Howery Hall of Dunbar, W.Va.; six grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. She was a member and Past Matron of McDaniel Chapter 47,OES.

The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at the Horne Funeral Home in Christiansburg. Funeral services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Wednesday, May 10, 2006 at the Horne Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Don Peters officiating.
