Collins, Jr., Van Buren

Van Buren Collins Jr. (Buddy), 69, of Giles Co., joined our Heavenly Father on Saturday, October 31, 2015. Van was preceded in death by his father Van Buren Collins Sr. and his mother Sena Niece Collins Criner; sisters Mary LaRue and Rose Collins.

He is survived by his loving wife Joyce Ann Collins of 48 years; daughter Crystal Collins and son-in-law Douglas Olinger; daughter Jennifer Keys; daughter Sherry Quesenberry Bradley and son-in-law Farron Bradley; son Van Buren Collins the III and daughter-in-law Devin Howell Collins; grandchildren; Josh and Justin Olinger, Lazet Keys, Latrell Keys and fiancé Ashley Mills, Brandon and Hunter Quesenberry, Jacob, Jared and Blake Bradley and Olivia and Emma Collins; great granddaughter Aubree Keys and great grandsons Ethan Walker, Jacob, Jahce, and Jaxton Bradley and many other loving family members and friends.

He was a Veteran of the United States Army and received his Purple Heart and his Air Medal while serving in Vietnam 1966 thru 1967. He was a loving husband, father and grandfather; he adore his family and was happiest spending time with them.

Funeral Services will be conducted 11 am, Wednesday, November 4, 2015 at McCoy Funeral Home, Blacksburg, VA. Pastor David Rhudy will be officiating.

Interment will follow at Roselawn Memorial Gardens w/Full Military Honors. Family will receive friends on Tuesday, November 3, 2015 from 6 to 8 at McCoy Funeral Home in Blacksburg, VA
