McGuire, William Elvis

William Elvis McGuire, age 58, of Shawsville died, Saturday, September 26, 2015, at New River Valley Medical Center. He was born in Radford, Va. on October 19, 1956 to the late Howard and Corbie Perdue McGuire.

He is also preceded in death by his brothers, Ray McGuire, Elwood McGuire, Frankie McGuire and Randall McGuire; sisters, Phyllis Tilley, Geraldine Lucas and Patsy Dirk. He was employed with Koppers for 35 years.

He is survived by his wife, Darlene McGuire, son, Eric McGuire, sister, Dorothy Faucette, numerous nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be conducted Tuesday, September 29, 2015 at 7:30 pm in the McCoy Funeral Home Chapel. In lieu of flowers memorial contribution may be made American Cancer Society, 2840 Electric Road, Suite 106 A, Roanoke, Va. 24018.

The family will receive friends from 5-7:30 pm Tuesday evening at the McCoy Funeral Home 150 Country Club Dr. Sw, Blacksburg
