Mowery, John Michael

John Michael (Mike) Mowery, 57, of Draper, passed away Thursday, September 24, 2015. He was preceded in death by his parents, John Austin and Margaret Mowery.

Survivors include his wife, Melanie Harris Mowery of Draper; three daughters and sons-in-law, Monica and Eric Cooper of Roanoke; Ashley and Mark Ferguson of Roanoke; Britney Mowery of Wytheville; two step-daughters and spouses, Holly and Von Nester of Draper; Rachel and Aaron Montgomery of Wytheville; sister and brother-in-law, Cheryl and Ken Summers of IL; six grandchildren, Natalie Ferguson, Lane Nester, Bryson Nester, Logan Ferguson, Wyatt Cooper and Adeline Montgomery.

Funeral services will be held 1 p.m., Saturday, September 26, 2015 at Barnett Funeral Home with Pastor Bobby Dunn and Pastor Ken Summers officiating. Interment will follow in West End Cemetery in Wytheville. The family will receive friends from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday at the Barnett Funeral Home.
