Hello, I wanted to contact Mattie’s family to say I’m so sorry for your loss. I don’t think anyone will know me, but my mother was very close to Mattie when they were young. Her name was Edna Eanes Janney. She was the daughter of Jasper and Arra Clower Eanes, and Arra was Mattie’s aunt. I don’t remember meeting Mattie without I was very young, but it was one of my mothers last request that she could find Mattie and talk with her. I’m sorry to say we lost Mother 5 years ago, and I don’t think she ever found where Mattie was, nor did she get to talk with her. I suppose they are talking with each other now:) Again, I’m so sorry for your loss, I feel as tho I know her well, because my mother talked of her a lot
