Graybeal, William S.

William S. Graybeal, 85, formerly of Radford, Va., died on April 24, 2009, at his home in Vienna, Va. He was born on November 7, 1924, to the late Henry and June McConnell Graybeal.

Bill was the beloved husband of Kathryn Graybeal, loving brother of David M. Graybeal, of Madison, N.J., J. Patrick Graybeal, of Hilton Head Island, S.C. and the late Henry C. Graybeal, Claire Houghton, and Douglas B. Graybeal, also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.

Bill attended Emory and Henry College for his undergraduate studies and degree and then went on to receive his Doctorate Degree in Education from Peabody University. He was an avid classical music collector and photographer.

Funeral services will be private. Arrangements by Adams-Green Funeral Home, Herndon, Va.
