Stowers, Dora M.

Dora M. Stowers, 68, of Dublin, passed away Saturday, April 11, 2009. She was born Oil City, Pennsylvania. She was a former employee of Hazelton Laboratories, The Loudon Times Mirror and Bookkeeper for Elmore Construction Co. for 25 years.

Survivors include her husband, John Stowers, of Dublin; son and daughter-in-law, John and Lisa Stowers, of Dublin; two grandsons, Everett and Jerry Smith, of Fredrick, Maryland; one brother and sister-in-law, Frank and Judith Voorhies, of Culpepper, Va.; nephew, Jason Voorhies.

Memorial services will be held Thursday, April 23, 2009, at 11 a.m., at the Lovettsville New Jerusalem Lutheran Church in Lovettsville, Va. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to Lovettsville Lutheran Church Building Fund 12942 Lutheran Church Road – Lovettsville, Virginia 220180.
