Shelburne, Cloyd Craig

Cloyd Craig Shelburne, 94, of Christiansburg, Va., passed away on Tuesday, April 14, 2009. He was preceded in death by his wife, Winifred Showalter Shelburne; and son-in-law, L. Eugene Codner.

He is survived by his daughter, Nancy Shelburne Codner, of Edmond, Okla.; son and daughter-in-law, Jack and Donna Shelburne, of Christiansburg, Va.; grandchildren, John Shelburne Codner, of Salem, Ore., Sarah Vaden Danielson, of Edmond, Okla., and Matthew Shelburne and Stephen Shelburne, both of Christiansburg, Va.; two greatgrandchildren, Wyatt Danielson and Lauren Danielson; sister, Estelle Shelburne Dobbins and husband, Ralph, of Christiansburg, Va., sisters-inlaw, Eugenia Showalter Farris, of Newbern, Va., Bula Shelburne, of Richmond, Va., and Gae Showalter, of Little Rock, Ark.; and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral service will be held 11 a.m. on Saturday, April 18, 2009, at the Christiansburg Church of Christ with Mr. Larry Phillips officiating. Interment to follow in the Sunset Cemetery. The family will receive friends one hour before the service at the church.
