Edlund, Lois Elkins

Lois Elkins Edlund, 84, of Blacksburg, passed away Monday, April 13, 2009, at Montgomery Regional Hospital. She was born in Dyer, Tenn. on May 13, 1924, to the late Louis and Exie Powers Elkins. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Milton Carl Edlund, and a son-in-law, Danny R. Pressley. She was a longtime member of the Blacksburg Presbyterian Church.

She is survived by her daughter, Susan E. Edlund, Blacksburg; her son and daughter-in-law, Randall and Linda Edlund, Clermont, Fla.; three grandchildren, Kristin Rosenberg, John Carl Edlund, and Amy E. Edlund; her greatgrandson, Xander Rosenberg; a sister and brother-in-law, Carolyn and Walter Weigel, Palatka, Fla.; a brother and sister-in-law, James and Yvonne Elkins, Sutter, Calif.

A memorial service will be held Wednesday, April 15, 2009, at 2 p.m. in the Blacksburg Presbyterian Church. A reception will follow the service immediately.
