THOMPSON, Beatrice Mae Dailey

Beatrice Mae Dailey Thompson, 78, of Pearisburg, Va., passed away, Friday evening, April 28, 2006 at her home.

Mrs. Thompson was born on October 19, 1927 in Coretta, W. Va., and was a daughter of the late Oscar Dailey, Sr. and Willa Crawford Dailey. Mrs. Thompson was a member of the Kentland Baptist Church in Kentland, Md. and the AARP.

She is survived by her husband, James Edward Thompson, Sr. of Pearisburg; one son, James Edward Thompson, Jr. of Bowie, Md.; one daughter, Carolyn Reynolds of Bowie, Md.; one brother, Oscar Dailey of Jewell Ridge, Va.; one half brother, Harold Dean Pruitt of Roanoke; one sister, Billy Jean Pruitt Christian of Jewel Ridge, Va.; and one grandson, Ricky Reynolds, III.

Graveside funeral services will be conducted Tuesday, May 2, 2006 at 2 p.m. at Birchlawn Burial Park in Pearisburg with the Rev. Shahn Wilburn officiating. Online condolences can be sent to the family at www.givensfuneralhomecom.
