TORRES, Clara Church

Clara Church Torres, 91, of 4772 Brookmont Road, Pulaski died Thursday evening, April 27, 2006 in the Pulaski Health and Rehab Center. She was born in Shady Valley, Tenn. on July 29, 1914 and was the daughter of the late Milas Church and Maggie Church.

Surviving are: her husband, Ernest Torres, Pulaski; two sons and daughters-in-law, James L. Smith, Jr. and Rosie Smith, Pulaski, Richard M. and Reba Smith, Pulaski; 10 grandchildren; numerous great-grandchildren; several great-great-grandchildren.

Funeral service will be held Sunday at 2 p.m. from Stevens Funeral Chapel with Rev. Bruce Gregory officiating. Burial will follow in Oakwood Cemetery, Pulaski. Visiting was held Saturday at the funeral home where the family received friends from 6 until 8 p.m.
