Walton, Billie Short

Billie Short Walton, of Christiansburg, passed away Saturday, April 22, 2006. She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert (Bob) Walton, Jr. and son, Robert (Bobby) Walton III.

She is survived by two daughters, Susan Lee Walton and Anne Shuford Poole and husband, George, all of Christiansburg; three grandchildren, Kevin Shuford and wife April; Laura Shuford and fianc? Brad Rutherford and Jennifer Walton; two greatgrandchildren, Meagan and Kelly Shuford.

The family will receive friends at 1 p.m. Tuesday at the Horne Funeral Home in Christiansburg, with a graveside service following at 2 p.m. in Sunset Cemetery. A special thank you goes out to all of the management and staff at English Meadow. In lieu of flowers, you may make donations to the Christiansburg Rescue Squad, P.O.
