Gravely, Leila Mae

Leila Mae Gravely, age 84, of Blacksburg died, Sunday, July 5, 2015, at New River Valley Medical Center. She was born in Buchanan, Va. on July 17, 1930.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Henry and Louvenia Gravely, 4 brothers, John Hopkins, Bill Gravely, June Gravely, Ernest Gravely. She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Patricia Gravely and John Byrd, grandchildren, Tiwanda and Kim Byrd, Mecca Gravely, great-grandchildren, Kashay Baylock, Ronesha Gravely, Lanesha Gravely, Tyson Plaines, Jr., DaMan Plaines, great-great-grandchildren, J’Mori Baylock, special friend, Anet Roman and her sons, Glenn Wooten, James Roman, Anthony Roman, Godchildren, Anna Tate, Helen Tate, LaTreasa Ross, host of nieces, nephews, and the relatives; special friends who cared for Leila, Jennifer McCormick and Stacey Snider. Memorial services will be conducted Saturday, July 11, 2015 at 2:00 pm in the McCoy Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Hiawatha Spraggins officiating. The family will receive friends from 1-2:00 pm Saturday afternoon at the McCoy Funeral Home 150 Country Club Dr. SW, Blacksburg.
