Brewer, Charles Jackson
Charles Jackson Brewer, 80, of Montgomery County, passed away on June 13, 2015. Charlie was born on April 13, 1935, to the late Ivan Jackson and Edna Elliott Brewer.
He is preceded in death by his loving wife of 29 years, Rosetta Brewer; and a great-grandson, William Lampey Jr.
He is survived by his daughters, Teresa (Roger Jones) Brewer and Jennia (Steve) McCourt; a sister, Jean Cook; five grandchildren, Amber, Mindy, Angie, Carey, Ashley and their spouses; and nine great-grandchildren.
Charlie worked for 30 years a truck driver for Old Colony Box Company in Radford. He was a veteran of the United States Air Force. He will be loved and missed by all who knew him.
The family will receive friends Tuesday June 16, 2015 from 6 to 8 p.m. at DeVilbiss Funeral Home in Radford. Funeral services will be held 11 a.m. Wednesday June 17, 2015, at the DeVilbiss Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Jim Walker officiating. Interment will follow at Highland Memorial Gardens in Dublin with full military rites.
