Bandy, Reba Wickham

Reba Wickham Bandy, 75, of Shawsville, Va., passed away on Monday, February 9, 2009, at her home after a long battle with Altzimers. She was retired from Montgomery County Commonwealth Attorney’s Office after 36 and one half years of service.

She was the daughter to the late Clifton R. and Gracie Furrow Wickham. She was also preceded in death by her brother, Donald Wickham.

She is survived by her husband of 53 years, Howard W. Bandy; three sons and two daughters-in-law, Paul C. and Patty J. Bandy, H. Randall Bandy, and Dana L. Bandy, Deborah Bandy; granddaughter, Brittaney M. Bandy; stepgranddaughter, Rachel Fleeman; sister-in-law, Caroline Wickham, of Salisbury, Md.; niece, Gail and her husband, Eddie Hall, of Maryland; nephews and their spouses, Greg and Janet Wickham, of Salisbury, Md., Gary Wickham, of Orlando, Fla., and Scottie and Kim Wickham, of Delaware. She is also survived by a very special aunt and cousin, Ruby W. Sisson and her son, Kenny C. Sisson.

The family will receive friends at The Horne Funeral Home on Thursday, February 12, 2009, from 5 to 8 p.m. The funeral service will be held 2 p.m. on Friday, February 13, 2009, in The Horne Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Jamie Hyden of Pearisburg officiating. Interment will follow in Piedmont Cemetery, Alleghany Springs, Shawsville.
