McFarland, Violet Alls

Violet Alls McFarland, 90, of Blacksburg, was reunited with her husband, Joe, and infant son, Wayne, on Friday, May 15, 2015 at The Crossings at Blacksburg. She was born in Montgomery County, VA on January 11, 1925 to the late Jacob and Josie Tawney Alls.

She is survived her daughters and sons-in-law, JoAnn and Bob Craven; Angie and Juel Albert, all of Blacksburg; two grandchildren, Chip Craven and wife, Karen, Carla Mitchell and husband, Mitch; three great-grandchildren, Zach Craven, Micah Mitchell, and Darah Mitchell; five step-grandchildren; three sisters-in-law, Elsie McFarland, Edna McFarland, and Elsie McFarland; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held Monday, May 18, 2015 at 2:00 pm in the McCoy Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Gary McCoy officiating. Interment will follow in the North Fork Baptist Church Cemetery, Ellett.

The family will receive friends from 6:00-8:00 pm Sunday at McCoy Funeral Home, Blacksburg.
