Tolbert, Martha Loftin

Martha Loftin Tolbert, age 84 of Pulaski, died Friday, May 15, 2015 at Commonwealth Assisted Living in Fairlawn. She was born August 8, 1930 in Roanoke, and was the daughter of the late Mable Aldridge Loftin and Grover Cleveland Loftin.

She was a member of the New Dublin Presbyterian Church. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Edward “Eddie” Tolbert, Jr. 3 brothers; Roger Loftin, Douglas Loftin and Grover C. Loftin,

She is survived by 2 sons; Richard Tolbert of Rockville, MD, and Danny Tolbert of Frederick, MD: 3 sisters; Betty Magruder of Annapolis, MD, Dorothy Kirkley of Palmyra, Va, and Barbara Loftin of Rockville, MD. Also survived by 5 granddaughters; Rachel Tappis, Caroline Tolbert, Madalle Tolbert, Elizabeth Tolbert, and Amy Tolbert.

Funeral services will be held Monday, May 18, 2015 at 1:00 p.m. at the New Dublin Presbyterian Church with the Rev. Andrew Taylor-Troutman officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends on Sunday, May 17, 2015 at Seagle Funeral Home from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m.
