Large, Nyoka Jane

Nyoka Jane Large, 66, of Ironto, Va., died on Thursday, January 1, 2009, at Select Specialty Hospital, Bristol, Tenn. She was born in Dickerson County, Va., on April 30, 1942, to the late Bill and Grace Newberry Gilbert.

She is survived by her husband, Kenneth Large, of Ironto; a special daughter, Cheyenne Standifer; and a special son, Isaac Standifer, both of Ironto.

Funeral services will be conducted noon on Sunday, January 4, 2009, in the Riverview Pentecostal Holiness Church with the Rev. Ellis Meredith officiating. Interment will follow in the Nyoka Memorial Cemetery, Ironto. The family will receive friends on Sunday between 10 a.m. and noon at the church.
