Neal, Edward Leon

Edward Leon Neal, 53, of Fairlawn, passed away on Sunday, April 19, 2015. He was a Senior Production Manager with Tetra for 10 years.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Wesley Leon Sr. and Shirley Austin Neal; and brothers, Wesley Leon Neal Jr. and Robert Wayne Neal.

Survivors include his wife of 23 years, Ellen D. Neal of Fairlawn; son and daughter-in-law, T.J. and Andi Nolen of Foster Falls; daughter and son-in-law, Jennifer and Scott Akers of Radford; five grandchildren, Ryan Spangler, Kayden Akers, Erika Akers, Michaela Akers and Remi Nolen; stepmother, Linda D. Neal of Christiansburg; sisters and brother-in-law, Debra Jane Neal of Blacksburg, and Kaye L. and Billy Meadows of Blacksburg; many other relatives and friends; and special canine companion, “Little Dog.”

The family will receive friends from 5 until 7 p.m. on Wednesday, April 22, 2015, at the Mullins Funeral Home in Radford. Funeral Services will follow at 7 p.m. with the Rev. Lee Sarver and Davie Whitlock officiating. Interment will be private.
