Chester A. Boothe, 88, of Floyd County, Va., passed away on Friday, December 19, 2008. He was preceded in death by his wife, Bessie Hylton Boothe. He is survived by a son, William H. Boothe; daughter, Mary L. Boothe; granddaughter, Angie Dian Boothe; nephews, Buddy Boothe, Huston Boothe, and Jimmy Boothe; and niece, Judy Shelton. Funeral services will be held 2 p.m. on Sunday, December 21, 2008, at the Light House Baptist Church with Pastor J.C. Willard and Pastor Dale Belcher officiating. Interment to follow in the Hylton Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. on Saturday, December 20, 2008, at Maberry Funeral Home.
