Edmonds, Mildred Ann

Mildred Ann Williams Edmonds, 88, of Pulaski, Va., passed away Tuesday, April 4, 2006 at Lewis-Gale Medical Center, Salem, Va.

She was born August 26, 1917, in Roanoke County, Va., the daughter of the late John and Georgia Dillon Williams. Mrs. Edmonds was a member of First Baptist Church, Pulaski, Va. where she served in many capacities.

She was preceded in death by her husband, John W. Edmonds Sr.; two sons, John W. Edmonds, Jr. and James T. Lewis; daughter, Patricia A. Collins and brother, George Williams.

Those left to cherish her memory are her daughter, Cynthia C. Edmonds; son, Curtis L. Lewis, Jr.; sister, Sarah Pennix; daughter-in-law, Kim M. Edmonds; son-in-law, David Collins; six grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; a host of nieces, great-nieces, nephews, great-nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.

Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Saturday, April 8, 2006 at First Baptist Church, Pulaski, Va. with the Rev. A. H. Daniels officiating. The interment will be in Pinehurst Cemetery, Pulaski, Va.
