Jennelle, Joe Patterson

Joe Patterson (Pat) Jennelle, 84, of Blacksburg, died Saturday, March 14, 2015, at Lewis Gale Hospital-Montgomery. He was born in Blacksburg, Va. on January 3, 1931 to the late Paul Clayton and Mary Tuck Jennelle.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Nancy Jennelle; four sisters and one brother. He was the owner of Jennelle Body Shop and was a avid bowler and roller skater.

He is survived by his daughter and son-in-law, Patricia and Michael Gray; three grandchildren, Elizabeth, Jodi, and Danielle Gray, all of Christiansburg; two step grandchildren, Scotty Gray and wife, Hannah, Katie Gray; step great-grandchildren, Cierra, Zoey, and Aiden; sister, Mary Ellen Craven, of Blacksburg; brother-in-law, Eddie Effinger, of Blacksburg; special niece, Diane Jennelle Church; several nieces and nephews; special friends, Lori Dobbins, Joan Heslep, and Brenda Webb.

Funeral Services will be conducted at 4 p.m. Thursday, March 19, 2015 in the McCoy Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Gary McCoy officiating. The family will receive friends 3 to 4 p.m. Thursday evening, March 19, 2015 at McCoy Funeral Home, 150 Country Club Drive SW, Blacksburg.
