Eanes, Rose Marie

Rose Marie Eanes, 56, of Elliston, Va., went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, March 3, 2015. Rose was predeceased by her father, Fredrick Lee Shaver.

She was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother who worked with her husband at their auction house for many years. She retired from Oak Hall Cap and Gown. She had a very special love for horses, having as many as 14 at one time.

Left to cherish her memory is her husband, Donald Eanes; children, Marie Paulley (David), and Donnie Eanes (Deanna Maxey); grandchildren, Brittany, Dillon, Dakota, Danica and Dalelena Eanes and David Brown; mother, Ovella Shaver; sister, Carolyn Spangler (Alan); and many other family members and friends.

Funeral Services will be held at 1 p.m. on Saturday, March 7, 2015, at Elliston Church of God with the Rev. Delores Caldwell officiating. Visitation will held two hours prior to the service. Interment will follow in Cedar Lawn Memorial Park. Mrs. Eanes is entrusted to Valley Funeral Home, 540-562-1182.
