Wohlford, Lucille Hale

Lucille H. Wohlford, age 88, of Blacksburg died, Thursday, February 26, 2015, at Radford Health and Rehab Center. She was born in Richlands, Va. on December 21, 1926 to the late Larken and Martha Hale.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas C. Wohlford, Jr., her sisters, Phyllis Smith and Virginia Taylor, brothers, Lacy Hale, Carnese Hale and Billy Hale.

She is survived by her daughter, Martha Rodriguez of Montgomery Village, MD., son and daughter-in-law, Thomas C. Wohlford III and Deborah Warren of Roswell, GA., grandchildren, Tracey Warren Wohlford of Chicago, IL., and Thomas C. Wohlford IV, Atlanta, GA.

Funeral services will be conducted Sunday, March 1, 2015 at 2:00 pm in the McCoy Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Chris McLain officiating. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the St. Judes Childrens Research Hospital 262 Danny Thomas Place, Memphis, TN. 38105.
