Conner, Calvin Ray

Calvin Ray Conner, 62, of Pilot, Va., tragically passed away at his home on Tuesday, February 24, 2015. He was preceded in death by his parents, Elbert and Clara Conner.

He is survived by his wife, Patricia Poff Conner; daughter and a very special son-in-law, Cynthia and Adam Walker; son and daughter-in-law, Chad and Eden Conner. “Paw Paw” is also survived by three special grandchildren, Brayden Walker, Kaylee Conner, and Hunter C-wack. He is also survived by his sister and brother-in-law, Mary and Larry Howell; his brother and sister-in-law, Carl and Sharla Conner; niece, Amanda Witt and husband, Matt; and great-niece, Cheyenne Witt; aunt, Erma Jean Vest and husband, Wilford; aunt, Glenna Nichols and husband, Clyde; and many other cousins and family.

We also want to say a special thanks to Floyd Station #3 Fire Department especially Chief Rickie Thompson and Bobby Haynes.

Funeral Services will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, February 28, 2015, at Gardner Funeral Home with Pastors Cecil Brown and Leon Alley officiating. Graveside service to follow at Wilson’s Cemetery.
