Susie Lanter Roberts, 96,of Blacksburg, Va., died on Wednesday, October 8, 2008, at Montgomery Regional Hospital. She was born in Roanoke, Va., on April 2, 1912. She was preceded in death by her husband, William H. Roberts; one daughter, Delores Roberts Turner; and also a son, Robert R. Davis. She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Betty D. Everett (Mills), of Blacksburg; son and daughter-in-law, William A. Roberts (Nancy), of Warrenton, Va.; 11 grandchildren; 14 greatgrandchildren; and one greatgreat-grandchild. Memorial services will be conducted 2 p.m. on Saturday, October 25, 2008, in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, Porter Street with the Bishop Mark Gardner officiating. Interment will be in the Westview Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 1 to 2 p.m. at the church. Arrangements by McCoy Funeral Home, Blacksburg, Va.
