McMurray, Dorcas Yolanda

Dorcas Yolanda McMurray, 63, of Christiansburg, Va., passed away on Thursday, September 25, 2008, at her home. She was born in Dante, Va., on March 6, 1945, to the late Letcher Lee and Mabel Litton Warf.

She is survived by her husband, Michael McMurray, of Christiansburg; two daughters and son-in-law, Cristy and Scott Davis, of Indian Trail, N.C., and Patricia McMurray, of Blacksburg; son and daughterin-law, John and Tiffany McMurray, of Christiansburg; seven sisters, Sharon Kay Abernathy, Darleen Eades, Drucilla Morris, Dreama Spence, Lanice Honaker and Deborah Blankenship; one brother, Robert Wayne Warf; and two grandchildren, John Wesley McMurray and Joshua Davis.

Memorial services will be conducted 2 p.m. on Saturday, September 27, 2008, in the McCoy Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Steve McMurray officiating. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Pulaski Community Hospital, c/o NRV Cancer Care Center, 2400 Lee Highway, Pulaski, Va. 24301. The family will receive friends from noon to 2 p.m. at the McCoy Funeral Home, 150 Country Club Drive, S.W., Blacksburg, Va.
