Powers, Zane Gray
Zane Gray Powers went to be in the arms of Jesus on Tuesday, September 9, 2008. Born August 18, 2008. Though he blessed us for such a short time we know that God has a purpose, he needed another Angel in heaven.
Born to Candice Kristine Hale and Shannon Gray Powers. He is also survived by three sisters, Taylar Powers, of Eagle Rock, Va., Kelsie and Caitlyn Powers, of Dublin; paternal grandparents, Marvin Powers, of Dublin, Shirley Powers and stepgrandfather, David Hopkins, of Salem; maternal grandparents, Karen and John Poff Jr., of Dublin; greatgrandparents, Ella and Jack Perkins, of Pearisburg; and Lula Collins, of Radford; aunts, Amanda Henderson, of Pearisburg, and Misty Bowman, of Dublin; cousins, Isaac and Josie Bowman, of Dublin, and Robert Bailey Jr., of Parrott.
The family will receive friends from 11 a.m. to 11:45 a.m. Monday, September 15, 2008. A graveside service will follow in Sunset Cemetery with the Rev. Mike Sweeney officiating. A memorial service will be held at 6 p.m. Monday, September 15, 2008, at Heritage Church, Dublin, Va.

Zane,
You are greatly missed and we all love you so very much. Your sisters miss you so bad. One day we will all be together again. I love you so much, son. I wish I would have had a little more time with you, but, GOD only takes the best. You are an angel and I am very blessed to have you in my heart <3 Mommy loves you to the moon and back. I think of you everyday, not a day goes by that you are not on my mind.
