Rogers, Anna Bell Stoots

Anna Bell Stoots Rogers, age 87 of Pulaski passed away Sunday, September 7, 2008 at the Pulaski Community Hospital.

Born October 14, 1920 in Pulaski, she was the daughter of the late James Monroe Stoots and Rachel Williams Stoots. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her husband, Giles Madison “Pete” Rogers, one brother, Moro Stoots and one sister, Naomi Tabor.

She was retired from Jefferson Mills with 46 years of service. Mrs. Rogers was a long time member of the First Church of the Brethren.

Surviving-

One Sister- Mildred S. Thompson-Pulaski

Brother- Arnold “Jack” Stoots and wife, Helen Stoots-Pulaski,

Special nieces- Debbie Smith and Linda Thompson-Pulaski,

Special Great niece and husband – Kim and Mike Sink- and their children, Austin and Taylor-Dublin

And a host of other nieces and nephews,

 

Funeral services will be held Wednesday 11:00 a.m. at the First Church of the Brethren, Newbern Rd., Pulaski with Rev. John Collins and Rev. Ted Turner officiating . Interment will follow in the Oakwood Cemetery, Pulaski.
