Peoples Sr., Oliva William

Oliva “Ollie” William Peoples, Sr. age 76 of Pulaski passed away Sunday, September 7, 2008 at the Montgomery Regional Hospital.

Born August 9, 1932 in Pulaski County, he was the son of the late Joseph Larkin Peoples and Signora Hill Peoples. He is also preceded in death by three brothers; Garnett Peoples, Ralph Peoples and George Peoples. He was a member of the First Baptist Church, Magazine Street, Pulaski.

Wife- Elizabeth Ann Redd Peoples – Pulaski,

Daughters- Margaret “Abby” Singleton and fiancé, Donald Ray Kennedy – Henderson, NC, Rose Marie Leeper – Pulaski, Amanda Lynn Peoples – Pulaski,

Sons- Oliva William Peoples Jr. & wife, Angel – Pulaski Douglas Wayne Peoples & wife, Faith – Pulaski,

Five Grandchildren-

John Austin Leeper, Iman K. Peoples, Indigo Z. Peoples, John Robert Singleton, Jr. & Christopher Scott Singleton

Sister- Sarah Redd-Salem

Brothers- Robert Peoples-Pearisburg, Edward Peoples-White Gate, Tommy Peoples-White Gate,

Special Family Member-John Leeper,Dublin.

Memorial services will be held Wednesday 5:00 P. M. at the First Baptist Church, Magazine Street, Pulaski with Rev. William Smith Jr. officiating.

The family will receive friends Wednesday from 4:00 P.M. until service hour at the church.
