Sturdivant, Wanda Ruth

Wanda Ruth Vaught Sturdivant, age 87, of Galax, Virginia passed away Tuesday, February 18, 2014 in the Grayson Nursing and Rehab Center in Independence, Virginia. Mrs. Sturdivant was born in Grayson County, Virginia on January 12, 1927 to Rex and Anna Burris Vaught. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Curtis Roy Sturdivant.

She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law Terry Lynn and Pansy Ruth Sturdivant of Wythe County, Virginia; brother-in-law Charlie Santos of Galax, Virginia; numerous nieces and nephews.

A memorial graveside service will be held in the Jerusalem United Methodist Church Cemetery with the Rev. James Billings officiating with the date and time to be announced later.
