Carl Thomas Perry, 63, of Shawsville, passed away Tuesday, August 5, 2008.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Alonzo and Irma G. Perry; brothers, Allen and Elwood Perry; and sister, Virgie Marie Pack.

He is survived by his wife, Connie Perry; a son, Thomas Perry and wife, Lena; daughters, Carla Perry, Christie Oliver and husband, Marc, all of Shawsville, and Toni Perry, of Maiden, N.C.; grandchildren, C.T. Perry II, Shelby, Seth, Tangie, Ciara, Shiane, Rachel and Laci; special little buddy, Mitchell; brothers and sistersin-law, Kenneth and Marie Perry, of Cleveland, Tenn., Charles and Elaine Perry, Willard and Florence Perry, of Dry Fork, Va., Raymond and Pauline Perry, of Rural Retreat, Va., Ronnie and Elaine Perry, of Brookville, Ohio, Ronnie Peaks, of Edwardsville, Ky., and Mac and Ilsa Atkinson, of Shawsville, Va.; sisters and brothers-in-law, Florence and Donnie Smith, of New Lebanon, Ohio, Alice and Larry Malphus, of Millington, Tenn., Evelyn and Ervin Burress, of Lake City, Tenn., Irene Osborne, of Ashland, Ky., Brenda Jackson, of Tazewell, Va., and Alyce Bales, of Welch, W.Va.

The family will receive friends from 5 to 8 p.m. on Friday, August 8, 2008, at the Horne Funeral Home, Christiansburg. Funeral services will be held 11 a.m. Saturday, August 9, 2008, in the Horne Funeral Home Chapel conducted by Pastor Dannie Short with interment to follow in Piedmont Cemetery, Shawsville.
