Croy, Barbara Ellen

Barbara Ellen Croy, 71, of Blacksburg, died Friday, August 1, 2008 at Radford Nursing and Rehab Center.

She was born in Montgomery County, Va. on July 4, 1937 to the late William Thomas and Ruth Thomas Graham. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Dalbert Wilson Croy and a son, Steven Bryan Croy.

She is survived by a son, Gregory Wilson Croy of Blacksburg; five sisters and brothers-in-law, Delilah G. McConnell, of Radford, Juanita and Edward Horton, of Hillsville, Flanders and Jay Ousey, of Hopewell, Carolina and Fred Hammond, of Kingsport, Tenn., Angela and Randy Shipley, of Mooresburg, Tenn.; three brothers and sisters-in-law, Billy Graham, Kawood and Nancy Graham, Denson and Vickie Graham, all of Blacksburg; and numerous nieces and nephews.

The family would like to thank the Radford Nursing and Rehab Center for taking care of her for the last two years.

Graveside services will be conducted Sunday, August 3, 2008 at 2 p.m. in the New Mt. Zion Lutheran Church Cemetery, with the Rev. Jimmie Lee Price officiating. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the New Mt. Zion Lutheran Church Cemetery Fund, C/O Archie Montgomery, 3647 Mt. Zion Road, Blacksburg, Va. 24060.
