Cecil Sr., William Paul

William Paul Cecil Sr., 82, of Christiansburg, died Tuesday, July 29, 2008. He was preceded in death by his first wife, Mary Cecil; and his children, James Earl, Paul Jean and Sue Lowe.

He is survived by his son, Bill and Bettye Jo Cecil, of Texas; grandson, John and Tina Cecil and family; granddaughter, Linda Bourne, of Christiansburg; and brothers, Robert, Pete and Jimmy. He is also survived by his second wife, Earnestine Cecil; and stepchildren, Patricia and Randy Cox, and family, Becky Linkous and family, and Donna and Richard McNeil and family, all of Christiansburg.

The family will receive friends at The Horne Funeral Home on Thursday, July 31, 2008, from 6 to 8 p.m. The funeral service will be held 11 a.m. Friday, August 1, 2008, in The Horne Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Donna Sharp officiating. Interment will follow in Hall’s Family Cemetery in Princeton, W.Va.
