Damron, Sallie Painter
Sallie Crockett Painter Damron, age 85 of Allisonia, died Saturday, December 13, 2014 at Lewis Gale Hospital – Pulaski. She was born in Draper, VA, on January 3, 1929, and was the daughter of the late Bertha Armbrister Painter and David Stuart Painter.
She was a retired supervisor for the former Flow Lab’s in Dublin, and was a member of the Farris Mines Christian Church. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Ralph Damron.
She is survived by four sons: Charles Damron and his wife Martha of New River, Terry Damron and his wife Gloria of Pulaski, Larry Damron and his wife Libby of Allisonia, and Robin Damron and his wife June of Newport News: a daughter; Patricia Gaye Damron and fiancé, Mike Bahr of Allisonia: two sisters; Virginia Warden of Wytheville,VA, and Louise Crumpler of Wisconsin. She is also survived by 15 grandchildren and 34 great-grandchildren.
A memorial service will he held on Tuesday, December 16, 2014, at 7:00 p.m. at Seagle Funeral Home, with the Rev. Dennis Trail and Rev. Jim Alley officiating. The family will receive friends on Tuesday, December 16, 2014, at Seagle Funeral Home from 5 until 7 p.m.
