Sutphin, Marvin Richard

Marvin Richard Sutphin, age 73 of Christiansburg passed away Friday, November 21, 2014 in the New River Valley Medical Center. Born June 21, 1941 in Pulaski County, he was the son of the late Columbus Franklin Richard Sutphin and Goldie Dalton Sutphin.

He was also preceded in death by three sisters, and two brothers. He was retired from RAAP.

He is survived by- His wife of 46 years- Joyce Sweeney Sutphin-Christiansburg, Son- Richard Sutphin and Claren-Christiansburg, Grandchildren-Sophie Rose Sutphin and Rucker Boone Sutphin.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday 1:00 p.m., November 25, 2014 in the Bower Funeral Home Chapel, Pulaski with Pastor Tommy Shafer officiating.

Interment will follow in Highland Memory Gardens, Dublin. The family will receive friends Tuesday, from 11:00 A.M.to 1:00 P.M. at Bower Funeral Home,Pulaski.
