Alderman, Naomi Stapleton

Ruth Naomi Stapleton Alderman, 85, of Radford, died Friday, July 11, 2008, at her home.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Howard Alderman, and by a daughter, Pauline A. Dobbins. Surviving are a daughter and son-in-law, Donna and Frank Harris, of Draper; a daughter, Susan Anderson, of Radford; a son-in-law, Roger Dobbins, of Radford, four sisters-in-law, Ruth Charlton, Imogene Lovern, Wilma Anderson and Jo Ann Alderman; three grandchildren, Ray Anderson, Kevin Harris and Ginny Mealy; and three great-grandchildren, Tracy Purcell, Loren Harris and Hannah Mealy also survive.

Funeral services will be held 2 p.m. Monday, July 14, 2008, at the DeVilbiss Funeral Chapel with Dr. Robert M. Pack officiating. Interment will follow in Highland Memory Gardens. The family will receive friends from 5 to 7 p.m. Sunday, July 13, 2008, at the DeVilbiss Funeral Home, Radford, Va.
