Cromer, Harvey Eugene

Harvey Eugene Cromer, 62, of Rich Creek, formerly of Blacksburg, died Thursday, July 10, 2008, at Beulah House, Dublin. He was born in Christiansburg, Va. on April 19, 1946, to the late Harvey Thomas and Gertrude Virginia Bland Cromer and also preceded by a sister, Emma Jean Cromer.

He is survived by his wife, Sherry Cromer, of Rich Creek; two stepsons, Sidney Sarver Jr., of New Castle, and Brian Sarver, of Blacksburg; a brother, James Thomas Cromer, of Floyd; mother-in-law and father-in-law, Mildred and Buck Quesenberry, of Salem; sister-in-law, Terry Robertson, of Pearisburg; brother-in-law, Thomas Quesenberry, of Newport; special nephew and spouse, Frankie and Tamera Cromer, of Christiansburg; and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be conducted Saturday, July 12, 2008, at 11 a.m. in the McCoy Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Jimmie Beale and Pastor Tom Rice officiating. Interment will follow in Highland Memory Gardens, Dublin.

Friends may call anytime Friday and the family will receive friends from 5 to 7 p.m. Friday evening at McCoy Funeral Home, 150 Country Club Dr., Blacksburg.
