COX, Gertrude Lois Quesenberry

Gertrude Lois Quesenberry Cox, 81, of Willis, passed away Wednesday, March 22, 2006 at New River Valley Medical Center.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Elmer Cox; son, James Cox; and great-granddaughter, Ava Conner.

Survivors include daughters and sons-in-law, Kathy and Darrell Young, Willis, JoAnn and Paul White, Radford; sons and daughters-in-law, Donnie and Sharon Cox, Timothy and Janie Cox, all of Willis; grandchildren, Greg and Amanda Conner, Jason and Alicia Slaughter, Jason and Lindsay Dawley, Ben White, Krista Cox, Travis Cox; stepgrandchildren, Mike and Dedra Young, Jamie Young; great-grandson, Luke Conner; stepgreat-grandsons, Brandon Young, Jacob Young; brothers, Gene Quesenberry, Fred Quesenberry, both of Floyd; stepmother, Eula Martin, Floyd.

Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Saturday, March 25, 2006 at the Maberry Funeral Home Chapel, Floyd, with Elder Larry Hollandsworth and Elder Hale Terry officiating. Interment will follow in the Sumpter Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at the Maberry Funeral Home.
